The National Entrepreneur-in-Residence (EIR) program at BizCare aims to attract experienced Vietnamese entrepreneurs with international exposure to mentor, advise, and support our portfolio companies (established businesses that are innovating their business models, small-and-growing businesses, and seed-stage startups). As an EIR, you will have a unique opportunity to contribute your expertise, network with fellow entrepreneurs, investors, and industry experts, and make a positive impact on the national startup ecosystem. The program operates on a pro-bono basis, reflecting our shared commitment to nurturing the growth and success of emerging businesses.

Your Responsibilities as an EiR

As an EiR at BizCare, your key responsibilities include:

  • Mentorship and Guidance: Provide strategic advice, guidance, and mentorship to startups and SMEs in areas such as strategy, product development, marketing, fundraising, and team building.

  • Feedback and Support: Offer constructive feedback and guidance on pitches, presentations, and business plans, helping startups refine their value proposition and execution strategies.

  • Active Participation: Engage in events, workshops, and networking opportunities organized by BizCare, fostering meaningful interactions and knowledge exchange.

  • Knowledge Sharing: Share your knowledge, experiences, and insights with other EIRs and the incubator team, contributing to a vibrant and collaborative community.

  • Investment Facilitation: Identify potential investment opportunities and help connect startups with relevant investors and partners, leveraging your network and industry expertise.

  • Brand Ambassadorship: Act as a brand ambassador for BizCare, promoting its mission, values, and positive impact on the startup ecosystem.

Selection Criteria 

To ensure the program's success, we seek entrepreneurs who possess the following qualifications:

  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success as an entrepreneur, investor, or executive in a startup or high-growth company, reflecting your ability to navigate challenges and achieve notable outcomes.

  • Industry Expertise: Experience in building and scaling companies in various industries, equipping you with valuable insights and domain-specific knowledge.

  • Effective Communication: Strong communication, leadership, and coaching skills, enabling you to effectively convey ideas, motivate teams, and provide actionable guidance.

  • Passion for Entrepreneurship: A genuine passion for entrepreneurship and a desire to support the growth and development of startups, combined with a positive and collaborative mindset.

  • Time Commitment: Availability to commit to the program for a minimum of 6 months, ensuring adequate time for meaningful engagement and impact.

Application Process

To apply for the Pilot EIR Program, please follow these steps:

  • Submission: Interested candidates should submit their resume, a brief bio, and a statement of interest explaining why they want to become an EIR at BizCare via our website (click the "Apply Now" button above).

  • Interview: Selected candidates will be invited for an interview with the management team to assess their qualifications, alignment with the program's goals, and potential fit within the incubator ecosystem.

  • MOU Agreement: Successful candidates will sign an MOU outlining their roles, responsibilities, and expectations as EIRs, solidifying their commitment to the program and ensuring a mutually beneficial collaboration.
