On July 26th, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the Ministry of Planning and Investment, and the Canadian Embassy organized a press conference for "announcing social impact businesses receiving support packages for responding to COVID-19" (ISEE-COVID). The ISEE-COVID project aims to enhance the recovery capacity of social impact businesses (SIBs) in Vietnam and contribute to reducing the impact of Covid-19 on vulnerable groups, especially women and girls.

Bizcare is proud to be one of three incubators alongside SIBs in the project. BizCare supports a group of 10 SIBs: Hanhsilk, Kymviet, Truong Foods - the leading fermented meat producer in Vietnam, ECOSOI natural fiber, VUN Art, Moc Truly Hue's, Marie's, NGONG, and Red Flag Farm. In the next six months, it is hoped that with the support and companionship of BizCare, these businesses will have a transformational journey and many new advancements.

Within the project framework, on July 27th, ISEE-COVID organized a training course "Promoting Gender Equality and Empowering Women - GEWE." The participating businesses had the opportunity to exchange and share the benefits of enhancing gender equality, identifying difficulties, challenges, and motivations to integrate gender into their activities. The training session was lively with many exciting experiences, providing businesses with a new perspective and practical application of the topic "Gender equality and women's empowerment" for businesses.
